The Academic Learning Centre offers a both in-person and online supports. Please look at the drop-down menus below to find more details on subjects and to book in. If you have any questions or you would like any information, please don't hesitate to contact us on academiclearningcentre@mtu.ie. If you'd like to come in to the ALC and have a chat with us about where to get started with the ALC you can book an online appointment or book an in-person appointment in LC1.23.
We also meet students on the other Cork campuses. You can book in to meet us in Cork College of Art and Design (CCAD), Cork School of Music (CSM) or the National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI).
Accounting
Are you a first year? Would you like some help with a Financial Accounting module.
We have a special extra support on Thursday morning from 8 - 9 am in D259. If you can't make it for 8 am on the dot don't worry you can still pop in at e.g. 8:30. Book your seat here.

National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI)
You can avail of in-person supports on the NMCI Ringaskiddy campus for Mechanics and Thermofluids and Mathematics and Statistics.
Mechanics & Thermofluids: Get support with your Mechancis module in person in NMCI every Tuesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Online support available on Wednesday evenings, book here.

Maths and Stats: Get support with your Maths module in-person in NMCI every Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm in room 0.30. Just pop in for 10 minutes or stay for the two hours to work on past exam questions or get some help on topics from lectures.
Physics
Are you concerned about a Physics module you are studying? Maybe you never did leacing cert Physics and the class is moving very quickly.
Physics support appointments will be available online on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 7 and 9 pm starting on 16th September.
