What is Just Ask!?
Just Ask! is a series of online communcations and pop-up help desks to help answer the questions you have now that you've arrived in MTU.
Who runs Just Ask!?
The Student Engagement Associates, who are trained to help you, run the Just Ask! campaign don't delay in asking any question you might have. There is no question too big or small for our team, and if we don't know the answer we will find out for you. Remember there is no need to be shy and there is no such thing as a silly question. All of the SEAs were First Years once too (!), so they know what its like adjusting to college life.
Frequently Asked Questions
The following are some of the most common questions we are asked. If your question isn't answered in this list call to a Just Ask! desk and chat to a SEA!
Q: Where is my classroom?
A: To find which classroom you are in look up your timetable (if unsure, look at the step-by-step guide that's been prepared).
Your classroom will begin with a letter followed by some numbers (ie. B228). The letter represents the block, the first digit tells you which floor it is on and the second and third digits tell you which room it is. (ie. B228, is in the B block, on the second floor, in room 28). Above the main doors you can tell which rooms are in that hallway, so look up to find your way.
Q: Where is the Reprographics Office, I need to collect my student ID?
A: The Reprographics and Card Services office is located on the Ground floor of the the Nexus, Student Centre. It is outside the Student Centre entrance near the main circle.
Q: Where is the Erasmus Office?
A: The Erasmus Office is located on the Ground Floor of the Adminstration Building, which is located off the main circle.
