Aim
Good Start aims to help new students to find their way at MTU by focusing on success, belonging, motivation and independence; the whole student experience.
What is the Good Start programme ?
Good Start provides new MTU students with a variety of social, sporting, study and support sessions/events to integrate and induct them into life on MTU Cork campuses - helping them settle in, meet people, get prepared for study and find out who’s there to help, all while having fun!
Who runs the Good Start Programme?
Good Start is a programme of AnSEO - The Student Engagement Office, but the programme itself is run by students for students.
Who are student engagement associates?
Our Student Engagement Associates are a team of current students who want to make the transition to MTU a positive experience for new students. They are a friendly bunch, who love to help and point students in the right direction, so don't be shy just say Hi!
