About the Academic Learning Centre (ALC)!
The Academic Learning Centre (ALC) at Munster Technological University (MTU) is a dedicated resource that supports students in their academic journey, encouraging them to become independant, engaged and successful learners. Services within the ALC encompass study skills, coaching, academic writing and subject supports.
Through workshops, individual consultations and online resources the ALC fosters the development of essential study skills while also focusing on subject-specific knowldege. Students can refine their time management abilities, enhance note-taking techniques and improve critical thinking. These skills, together with academic subject support, empower students to engage more deeply with their coursework and maximise their academic potential.
